【求助】一些选校，essay的思路问题，求大牛们帮助

先自报家门
中国科学技术大学毕业，本科研究生都是生物，本科GPA很低2.7，研究生也就3.2左右（硬伤1）
美国知名快消公司，好吧就是最大的那个，management trainee，3年工作经验，刚刚promote，做initiative management
GMAT 740,4.0（作文比较差），toefl刚考完，估计口语会悲剧。指望100+单科23+。
申请的学校大多数是农村学校，M7之内只有Kellogg，其他包括Tuck，Michigan，Duke，Anderson，darden，还有国内中欧和港科。
将来方向想做general management 或者咨询。对Duke的那个health care的program蛮感兴趣，毕竟和学校专业比较接近，个人又很想去港科，性价比比较高~~
写essay的时候很迷茫，做那种career path mapping的题目时怎么把学校专业，现在工作和将来兴趣联系在一起呢？感觉自己这条路径不是那种顺理成章的。

Lz的问题不是在essay思路
而是为什么要念mba与why now
尤其为何已经在最大快消了却还要念
当然谁都希望藉由这个学历来镀金,取得更高职位与高报酬
但需要更具体化
要从职业兴趣、性格特性、与专业能力三个面向来思索
找出who you are以后会自然投射出career goals

职业兴趣lz可以从三年的management trainee资历中找出最喜欢执行哪些项目
再来性格特性可以藉由思索为什么刚被promote到initiative management时却有个力量把你推去念mba,看具体到底是什么力量，一般都会跟自身的个性与动机有关
最后是专业能力，可以从当初的why bio master以及毕业找工的时候为何选快消又这三年多用上了多少bio专业

从找到who you are并投射出career goals后再去看学校的选修课跟就业路线
就会自然剔除好几间学校

Hello my friend! This is a very tough challenge indeed. And feel free to send me an email to my personal account for some advice. But yes, you are correct—you will NEED to connect your past experiences to your future goals! if you don’t have a great background in healthcare (and it seems like you don’t have ANY background in it) then you will likely NOT get into any healthcare-related program. Instead, in your essays you should talk about what your background IS in. it doesn’t matter what you really want to do when you grow up—in your essays, you need to say that thing that the adcoms want to hear. And in your case, it will have to do with your background in FMCG.

ick the career that BEST mirrors what you do now—it sounds tho to me like it wouldn’t be healthcare, it would be P&G, brand management, etc. So pursue THAT approach. This will get you going in the right direction. Hope this helps…
