今年哥大不能延迟了？！

小弟是应届生，前几天拿到哥大的ad，这几天因为开学时间的问题一直在发愁，昨天发邮件给小米说了自己的情况，问问怎么办，结果回复是这样的：
...You cannot miss for than 3 sessions of any class or you will not receive a grade for that class. It is imperative that you be here when classes begin on June 1, 2011. If you wish to leave for a week to attend the graduation ceremony that should be fine, but you cannot begin the program one month late. We do not offer deferrals, so you may apply again next year if you are unable to come to the school this year.

看过后如遭五雷轰顶！不是说这个项目往年能够推迟一年入学吗，今年怎么忽然就不行了？现在我该怎么办？急求前辈指点！

明年入学或者联系本科导师提前完成答辩。

目前人回我邮件的意思是不能保留学籍明年入学，想明年入学只能明年重新申请。。。

可以延迟但是要有比较strong的理由你可以再联系下
