Asking help for future plan

First of all, any help is greatly appreciated here.

I graduated from a top2 with a science (bachelor's) and then economics (master's) degrees last year, and now work in a finance & investment subsidiary of one of the 3 large oil companies of China ( think petrochina, sinopec, cnooc). I have made up my mind to apply for MBA in about 4 years or so, but worry a little bit about the recognition of my current job in the eyes of AdCom. So I am now seriously considering gaining some overseas education and w/e before the application. Should I join in some one-year masters in finance program provided in Europe or USA? or what I need to do is just stay where I am and do my job well?

do you have no international experience at all so far? or you might have international exposure in your current role, thru biz trip or temp o/s placement or something?

you've done your master, another one seems to be dup. even if you did this 2nd master in, say, UK, what is next??? are you guaranteed a good job in one international financial hub? the reputation of 1-year master degree is deteriorating so fast, think carefully.

personally think the impact of one-year master is mininal if you cannot find a job overseas.

能源行业有蛮多机会在国外工作的呀，试着内部要求外派？你都有Master学位了，再读一个有点浪费自己的时间。。。想想你post MBA一年能挣10W美元，你等于白扔了10W。

All of these 3 oil companies have very good in-house M&A department and they all shop around the world for natural resources assets! look at the number of deals they have done... I think there are plenty of opportunities where LZ can be involved in international transactions in your company and you should try your best to be a part of these to build up your CV.
