General Summary

Responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the Compliance and  Professional Standards for *Client Company*.

Scope

Under direct supervision of Chief Compliance Officer, implements and enforces Compliance and Professional Standards efforts for *Client Company*.

Responsibilities and Roles

  • Responsible for the support and implementation of Compliance efforts for *Client Company* and promotion of an ethical and legally compliant business culture. Partner with senior management and regional compliance teams to achieve desired compliance results.
  • Is accountable for ensuring participation and execution of compliance standards in the areas of Compliance Policy Enforcement, Professional Standards, Client Service Agreements, E&O, and Learning (HR).
  • Actively participates on appropriate executive, leadership, and/or operating committees, so as to ensure the Compliance function is integrated with business operations.
  • Responsible of managing regulatory relationship with and reporting to CIRC bureaus across China.
  • Is responsible for conducting process reviews with members of the local office and/or department compliance network to ensure transparency processes and procedures are effectively implemented and utilized.
  • Responsible for ensuring all TPP submission, renewal and payment comply with company policy and procedure, ensure on time submission and renewal.
  • Interpret regulations/directives and global/regional policies; and develops procedures, policies, processes and training to support the compliance function in conjunction with all internal and external standards and regulations and communicates and executes within the country/practice.
  • Is authorized to investigate all compliance and procedural issues including recommendations to the Risk and Compliance committees for consequences of potential non-compliance based on facts identified through the investigation process under auspices of Internal Review & Response.
  • Provides input to senior operational leadership on the status of compliance, transparency, and overall professional liability performance of colleagues.
  • Is responsible for implementing an effective E&O network and ensuring effective processes exist to address E&O Prevention (Pre Loss) and Mitigation (Early Intervention Committee Reviews Oversight).
  • Partners with E&O coordinator in triaging, investigating, mitigating, and closing claims as well as assisting HQ of *Client Company* Legal in reviewing claims history, identifying trends, and developing awareness education to avoid repeatable incidents.
  • Member of China Compliance committee or any similar effort of the company.

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, in both Chinese and English.
  • Has 8-12 years of industry or relative experience.
  • Aptitude and attitude for Compliance, ethical behavior and avoiding conflicts of interest demonstrated by personal integrity and accountability.
  • Continued training in Professional Standards and Compliance so as to serve as subject matter expert in area of responsibility.
  • Operational brokerage experience from advisory, placement or consulting is desired.
  • Process improvement training for identification of areas to create greater efficiency; and the ability to drill down to root causes, develop solutions, and lead process change.
  • Works collaboratively and collegially with all operational colleagues to be a partner so Compliance become a differentiation in serving our clients and is a competitive advantage for *Client Company*.
  • Has the ability to work well within a matrix organization.

Job Title: Software Account Executive and Regional Sales Lead for Greater China
Report To: Head of Software Asia Pacific and Head of Greater China
Location: Beijing or Shanghai

General Summary

Responsible for new sales and sustaining + growing revenue / NOI and customer satisfaction or specific clients and/or a defined geographic area. Utilizes sales systems, processes & tools.
Responsible for developing and executing major account plans with named accounts.
Responsible for driving expanded business campaigns in line with Software defined solution sales methodologies.
Responsible for ensuring fiscal performance in line with monthly and quarterly goals.
Responsible for ensuring sales proposals comply with worldwide policies and pre-qualified and authorized by professional service, legal and general management.
Ensures product knowledge is current.
Mentors colleagues.

Essential Functions

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Develop new sales pipeline sufficiently to accurately forecast, meet and exceed revenue goals in time frames defined by management
  • Manage client engagements in line with business process and policy
  • Assume responsibility for total client relationship and satisfaction
  • Demonstrate new products, services, and strategy
  • Attend and support industry conferences and/or events as determined by company
  • Conducting client Meetings as needed
  • Production of expanded business

Client Service:

  • Managing and assuming 100% responsibility for the overall relationship of the client.
  • To be the escalation and solution point for client relationship issues not addressed by systems consultants
  • To be the advocate of clients within the company while at all times ethically placing the commercial interests of the company first
  • Establishing superior client satisfaction as evidenced by standard metrics and continued growth of book of business
  • Working closely and collaboratively with a Service Team to meet client goals

General:

  • Communicate message, mission, and vision
  • Educate colleagues and management on client issues and needs
  • Catalyst for changes and improvements that will lead to better products, service levels, and client support related processes
  • Proactive contribution of ideas to help exceed financial goals and enhance client satisfaction

Scope: Lead Sales and Account Executive

  • Achieve a pre-defined sales target
  • Handle a mix of complex and maintenance accounts, middle tier with a focus on retention and growth
  • Provide relationship and account management for demanding clients; manage book of business; renewal growth target 5-10%; cross sell and up sell, bad debt, open outstanding, migration, client retention, client satisfaction, and client profitability targets per scorecard.
  • Consistently performs at the top of the Account Management peer group.
  • Frequently sought within the organization for advice on client relationships as applicable in the Greater China Region.
  • Recognized leader in maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Active professional association involvement is highly encouraged

Qualifications

  • Excellent written, verbal and analytic skills to lead presentations in both Chinese and English. (English is very important to this role)
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in business to business sales experience in major markets
  • Proven new business sales and / or major account management skills in advanced technology /software applications/ risk management to major organizations
  • Graduation from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have a solid business acumen, understand budget/business cycles and organizational objectives.
  • Thrive in a demanding and intense work environment; meet multiple deadlines and sales goals consistently.
  • Motivated, charismatic individual who is driven to impact business efforts.
  • Good all round software and professional service centric industry knowledge
  • Experienced in complex contractual engagements involving licensed product and service delivery agreements
  • Experience with channel partnerships and collaborative sales environments
  • Accustomed to working with and as part of virtual teams
