's take-home pay last year was the same each month, and she saved the same fraction of her take-home pay each month.The total amount of money that she had saved at the end of the year was 3 times the amount of that portion of her monthly take-home pay that she did not save.If all the money that she saved last year was from her take-home pay, what fraction of her take-home pay did she save each month?

(A) 1/2

(B) 1/3

(C) 1/4

(D) 1/5

(E) 1/6

这道题目怎么理解阿?

还有一道题目,网上也有两个版本的答案

In the xy-plane, does the line with equation y = 3x + 2 contain the point (r,s)?

(1) (3r + 2 - s)(4r + 9 - s) = 0
(2) (4r - 6 - s)(3r + 2 - s) = 0

Since, when plugging (r,s) into y = 3x + 2 gives you s = 3r + 2, i'm assuming that this makes one of the terms in stmt 1 and 2 = 0 (3r + 2 - s = 0, since 3r + 2 = s).

Any suggestions please?

看下面的,prep上说是C但是我当时是当方程分别求解得到D当然c的解释也能理解
但是c为什么不正确呢？
