Each * in the mileage table above represents an entry indicating the distance between a pair of the five cities. If the table were extended to represent the distances between all pairs of 30 cities and each distance were to be represented by only one entry,how many entries would the table then have?
A 60
B 435
C 450
D465
E 900
答案是B

以前看过别人的这题的帖子，可是还是不懂！
麻烦谁会的帮忙讲一下！PS:这题带个有个图，不会发。

when it is the five cities,the entries are 4+3+2+1,
in the same way ,when it comes to the 30 cities,it comes to 29+...+1,which results in 435.
计算entries以对角线为区分，只需要计算一侧的，对角线上的由于是A-A这种，也不计算。

29+...+1,有没有简便的方法得出结果？请原谅我，我目前只会29+28+27……+1加下去。好愚蠢。。以前上学学的的公式都忘记了。。。
