I just began my preparation for GMAT several days ago. I am suffering from CR. After seeing the answer A ,i think the explanation maybe like this as follows:

   the argument reveals that the passenger is innocent ,the death of the passenger results from the driver ,who only suffers the minor injure. so we can see that it shows much sympathy for the passenger and hold  the idea that the driver should be to blame from the word" ironic" ,which maybe the key word .SO the hidden assumption is that the driver is at fault ,however it is the passenger who loses his life. so ,choice A is the correct one .chioce B is irrelevant to the argument. chioce C address the pedestrian,which is irrelevant. chioce D ,"the experts" is irrelevant. chioce E is opposite to A ,so it is the incorrect one.

     This is my own opinion,which maybe false.

You know,  I'm suffering the CR .I feel it difficult to deal with it, I just got the idea from the answer  he gave. I also didn't know which to choose if I  didn't see the answer A .  Any way ,thank you for encouragement.I 'll  hold on!
