在看了几个帖子以后我发现一个疑问
spawned.. and extending...到底是修饰 an interwoven filigree的还是 rootlike tentacles

一般情况 A of B结构后面的定语都是修饰中心词A的
那么这里就应该是修饰an interwoven filigree的~
但是帖子里好多人都是认为是rootlike tentacles啊！~
有些疑惑请大家指正~~谢谢

我怎么觉得是修饰a giant fungus的？后面的这个部分是独立主格结构，a fungus (that..)spawned and extending.

只是直觉哈。

我也觉得是修饰fungus, 这题我看了其它人的讲解后算是明白了。题目不是说科学家发现有个fungus现在还存在。文章就接着解释这个fungus。
