A furniture dealer purchased a desk for $150 and then set the selling price equal to the purchase price plus a markup that was 40percent of the selling price. If the dealer sold the desk at the selling price, what was the amount of the dealer's gross profit
from the purchase and the sale of the desk?

请问为何是100呢??没看明白```求解```

那个40%不是markup，注意40percent of the selling price中的of the selling price，其实是gross profit margin
（SP-150）/SP=40%,SP=250,profit=100
