紧急求助，关于保险

我下个学期要去美国交换一个学期，Brandeis University，MA 在boston附近。8月底到12月，然后要买保险，学校说一年的保险是1607美元，我觉得太贵了，而且是一年为单位，我觉得很不值的。我只去4个月。她说即使我买校外保险，也必须cover这些所有，请问有人了解那边的商业保险部？因为要快走了，8月20号飞BOSTON.所以还是想赶紧解决保险。多谢各位好心人啊
1. Provide comprehensive coverage including preventative and primary care, emergency care, hospitalization benefits, outpatient medical services, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services.
2. Cover pre-existing conditions.
3. Provide services in the community where the student attends school.
4. Be based in the United States with a U.S. address
5.Travel insurance is not a comprehensive health insurance plan and is not acceptable as alternate coverage.
后来我同学告诉我了一个网站，我给客服发了信息。回复说
While our plans will meet most of the requirements you have stated below and students have taken our insurance plans in the past, none of our plans will meet the requirement below:

Cover pre-existing conditions.

Our COMPASS and ISO Med plans provide coverage for pre-existing conditions but after a waiting period of 6 months.
那到底pre-existing conditions是什么意思呢？

去看看PSI insurance吧, 很便宜, 很多留学生一开始都用这个

pre-existing condition是指你买保险之前身体已经存在的问题/病

psi 是很便宜
但是基本一生病就开始扯皮。要是你身体够好，其实也不用买。毕竟你还要交学校的health center 的钱，去校医院看病也可以。大病就造孽了。
