大家都是如何拒绝决定不去的学校的呢？写邮件说明原因？还是直接不交定金？

应该都有说reply by XXXX的吧，有的学校寄的package里面还会有一个卡片的吧？

有卡片的直接寄回去就是了。要回电邮的，写的礼貌一点，说一些个人原因，不能选择XX学校，但是非常感谢XX学校给我这个机会。

拒绝也是件功夫活啊~~~

网上都有那个回执页，要你在几月几号前confirm去还是不去，提交了就可以。

I would send an email to say "I have decided not to attend". I think that works better for their planning purposes. Some people may genuinely forget to reply by the deadline and so the school may have to hunt them down; I wouldn't want them to waste their resources on me.

In addition the sooner I tell them, the sooner someone on the waitlist/next round gets a chance. Why would I deny him/her that?
