1 if n is an integer and 2<n<6, what is the value of n
a. n is a factor of 15
b. n is a factor of 21
答案是b only

2. the figure shows a square patio surrounded by a walkway of width x meters. if the area of the walkway is 132 square meters and the width of the patio is 5 meters greater than the width of the walkway, what is the area of the patio, in square meters? 就是正方形套正方形，外边的一圈面积给你了，求里边得面积
答案是 64

3. if x > 0, then 1/[v(2x)+vx]= 答案是（v2-1）/vx 搞不懂这个v 是什么东西

4. a photographer will arrange 6 people of 6 different heights for photograph by placing them in two rows of three so that each person in the first row is standing in front of someone in the second row. the heights of the people within each row must increase from left to right, and each person in the second row must be taller than the person standing in front of him or her. how many such arrangements of the 6 people are possible?

答案 5

5. jeanna bought only $0.15 stamps and $0.29 stamps. how many $0.15 stamps did she buy?
a. she bought $4.4 worth of stamps
b. she bought an equal number of $0.15 stamps and $0.29 stampts

答案是each is sufficient.

第五题的答案是D是对的你带入数字就会发出了2个邮票的数量相等，没有其他方法得到最后的总数字。这个题的数字很凑巧。

从a得知，1,3,5,15都可以是15的factor 题目说n在2-6之间，所以3，5都满足条件，所以a不行

b. 1,3,7,21是21的factor, therefore 3 is the only possible answer since n has to be between 2 and 6.

第5题答案应该是A吧，条件2不能确定具体邮票的张数啊，可以为任意数，只说了两个面值的张数相等

两个条件都用确实是会发现两种邮票数目相等时，正好。

但是单就第一个条件的话，怎样带数？你怎么知道不会有其他的组合呢？
