两个选项看起来都像，选最有关的。本题claim是most consumers，而D选项说得是consumers who take up jogging，不能代表most consumers；C中many consumers更接近most consumers，所以选C。

可是选项C：Many consumers purchase jogging shoes for use in activities other than jogging.

许多人买jogging鞋作其它用途，也不能推出人们就常用这个鞋子啊。

我觉得主要是看怎么理解"use"吧，因为例子中的jogging shoes只考虑用到jogging,考虑的范围太狭窄，只要提出还可以用到其他的用途就可以weaken由那个例子得出的结论
