这道题问的是method of persuasion。我认为作者的套路就是让政府觉得free speech这样的moral ideals对于政府自己来说是非常有利的(self-interest)，从而让政府在出于自己利益(self-interest)的角度同意支持free speech。这应该就是a coupling of moral ideals with self-interests。

回来看看B)。我觉得这个根本就不是一个method of persuasion，用motivation可能更合适些，即作者支持speech的动机。而且for its own sake在文章中也没有提到。

感谢ls的同学，这题我印象中在狒狒逻辑里面也做过，不知道记得清楚不清楚，个人觉得这题还是比较像GMAT风格的，其他有些LSAT题目确实比较自虐~权当训练感觉好了~
