我的理解是carotenoid 在动物的体内都是一样的稀少的，因此动物要么用它来抵抗病毒要么用吸引异性

C：用来解毒的同时就不能用来提亮羽毛颜色了

E：可以特高被选择为配偶的可能性（=可以提高毛色亮度）

两个其实是矛盾的哟。
