问题：1、expect sb that一定错吗？expect习惯用法只有：expect sb to do  or expect that？

          2、A/B的错误，是set和were/have been不匹配，动词省略不能还原吗？

to do 比that从句要简洁

A 中expecte 和were的时态不符合

D也是时态问题

B中的than前后的比较对象不对等，前面是动作set，后面应该是had done.

个人觉得是这样，had done 好像也不是太好，但是我确定是比较对象的问题。

Expect sb to do sth, 句子没划线的地方已经有sb了，所以必须接 to，排除D、E

AB 的错误在于 more conservatively 是副词作状语，而they were和 they have been都应该接形容词，也就是定语。所以不匹配。和Set无关。

C里 to be （more ...than）和have been 是匹配的
