title: Is it more important for teacher to help students gain self-confidence than to teach specific knowledge?

Whether gaining self-confidence is more important than teaching specific knowledge for teacher, different people have different ideas, due to their background. As for me, I strongly support that it is more important to help students gain self-confidence.

Firstly, it is obvious that teaching students how to be a person with extraordinary quality is more important than teaching them expertise that is a wide accepted perspective. A good quality, including self-confidence, can affect a person and even decide the success of the person in his/her career. Someone who own self-confidence can do everything better than those who lack necessary self-confidence. But, expertise and school knowledge are just skill or fixed information which is not related to someone's idiosyncrasy. So, students should get more education or help about how to get good characteristics by their teachers. For example, Chinese tradtional education requires people firstly learn how to be a person with good quality, then how to be a person with variety knowledge.

Secondly, if students have self-confidence, they can learn specific knowledge by themselves and teacher, as an assistant character, just helps students learn better. Accordingly, someone with self-confidence is more efficient than those who are frastrated. According to some statistics, the students with high grades are more confident than those low points students. And, they will have more interesting to learn new speific knowledge which is boring to those low points students. So, a full self-confidence is the origin and power of doing everything for a student. In another word, to help students improve their confidence is the initial assignment for a teacher.

Although learning academic knowledge and learning other skills are also very important for students, mental health is the most important and necessary quality for students. self-confidence will accompany with everyone throughout his/her all life. So, teacher has the responsibility to assistant students to enhence their self-confidence. Otherwise, depressed emotion will haunt students, who was short of confidence in his/her childhood, like a ghost. Obviously, as a teacher, he/she should forcus on studenst's emotion health condition which will influence him/her all the life rather than the points that is not important enough. 

In conclusion, the students with confidence can study well through a little assistance of teachers, so self-confidence is the initial factor of learning school knowledge and more important than teaching students expertise. While learning specific knowledge is very important for students, it is just the consequence of helping students  gain self-confidence.

这篇作文我自己感觉,观点说得有些重复了,实在是想不出什么好观点了.我希望童鞋们能够从文章结构的角度帮我分析一下,谢谢了.
