感谢wharton的Jason and Lynn 以及GMAT Zone 的Collins

昨晚参加了wharton在新加坡举办的coffee chat, 觉得受益匪浅。

在网上早就听闻Jason 的大名，也从他在CD 上众多的回帖中得知他是个热心的人，昨晚见面，更是印证了这一印象：友善，热心，平和而谦逊。

没想到还能遇见Lynn 这位美丽的女士,she is so nice and encouraging. She said during her self-introduction that if anyone wonder why MBA, she could help explain and if anyone wonder why a wharton MBA, she could also give answers. And she did. From talking with her, I benefited greatly not only from her information but also from her sincere encouragement. We talked about leadership, and different definitions of leadership. Although leadership was generally associated with capability or initiative, i believe that the ability to empowe others to pursue thier dreams that Lynn presented was also leadership.

Now to Mr.Collins, a Insead alumni and a sucessful entreprenuer. He is full of passions and he has a special gift that he is able to influence people to an extent that they share his passion. I really think that Insead should hire him for marketing, because it seems to me that he could act as the brand ambassador of Insead, vibrant and intelligent and in his own words" interesting". From him, i learn that Insead likes the type of people who could not only accomplish in life but also have the capability to enjoy life. Anyone who want to do a good job in his career and meanwhile have fun should consider Insead becuase this is the personality of this business school. I wish here a great sucess for his consulting business and would recommend anyone in singapore who has questions about career development or business school application to visit his office in high street center. Just talkin with him was fruitful learning experience to me.
