有2个语法题不是很理解 谢谢大家

在准备过程中发现几道题目不是很理解，
                发出来希望各位大牛指点：

这题答案是E  但是我觉得E里面少了个 AND 连接。
        不知道各位大牛什么高见？

        但是总觉得FOR MAKING 感觉不大对。于是选了A ，
        虽然A中得 THEM 指代不清

第一题用排除法的话选E，AND有了也许更好

第二题逻辑指代不清是CORRECTIVENESS的错误，一定要避免的，而FOR MAKING的话只是EFFECTIVENESS的错误

楼上看来解释不清，我来说两句吧

第一题，前面两句so 倒装其实是并列的，简洁明了，加and多此一举，and是累赘

第二题，hope不及物动词，排除abd，没有be hoping 排除e

第一题： 并列也要加AND得啊  否则语法不对了啊

第二题： 做这种题一般在时间压力下马上就把FOR MAKING这种表达方式排除了  看来以后还是要小心陷阱

for doing 与 to do 都是表示目的的，在两者都对的情况下，用to do 更好，但并不表示for doing 就是不对的！

关于两个so是并列的关系本人也不明白，难道and 都是累赘了？

第二题的A选项中，scientist belive其实是插入语，正确的用法应该用逗号将其隔开；定从中的主语应该是that，them指代——从逻辑上指代scientists,但从语法上优先指代主语measurements，存在矛盾。
