They are in the same tier. I lean slightly more toward Chicago given its larger program size, more alumni working oversea and their international campuses. This is my general impression, regardless of your career goal.

If I were you, I would choose Chicago.

As to MBA, Chicago brand is better, I think.

The general impression of MIT is techy, not business savvy.
