not necessarily! I got my interview on Sept.23, and just submitted my application on Jan.1.

sorry to answer your question so late. I requested my interview when the associate director of addmissions came to beijing during the mba tour in sept. it seems that they are coming soon again. so you need to write an email to them and fax them your toefl,gmat score and your resume, then wait for their reply to see if you are granted an interview.
