Reporting Relationships Ø Direct report to CFO
Main Responsibilities: Ø Direct supervision of finance functions for 5 legal entities Ø Generation of accurate and timely accounting reports reflecting the fair and true state of the business Ø Managing a team of 30 people plus Ø Reporting of Group P&L and balance sheet Ø Reporting of PRC P&L and balance sheet Ø Setting up of banking policy and relationship Ø Optimization of cash flow Ø Monitor and validate monthly inter-co movements Ø Accounting closing & audits Ø Liaison with external auditors Ø Close contact with Tax Bureau Ø Maintenance of chart of accounts Ø Maintenance of SAP FI module Ø Setting up and maintaining accounting policy in conformity with local regulations and Group norms Ø Setting up and implement finance and accounting procedure Ø Liaising with divisions and other departments on operational matters Ø Coaching and developing team members Ø Ad hoc management reports
General Profile:
Ø Minimum 10-year working experience in finance and accounting field, of which at least 3 years in one of the big 4, and 5 years in a managerial position of a multinational company Ø Self-starter with initiatives Ø Experience in managing a multi-entity accounting Ø Chinese or international accounting qualification Ø Well versed with PRC GAAP and IFRS Ø Practical knowledge of PRC tax regulations Ø Hands-on experience of computerized accounting package, SAP a plus Ø Pro-active Ø Objective-oriented Ø Logical thinking, organized planning and proper delegation Ø People manager Ø Ability to manage and animate a diverse and important team Ø Excellent communication skills in Chinese, English and French if possible Ø Ability to take on challenge and work under pressure Ø Ability to work with all levels of staff and management Ø Defend own viewpoint but respect decision Ø Team player Ø Capable to make changes and benchmark with best practice Ø Ambitious to re-engineer the company processes and the finance-related functions in line with the strategy of the company Ø Able to build and grow a solid team for the future development Ø Experience in FMCG a plus
