Seeking a Quantitative Equity Analyst for a top hedge fund in Boston.

As the Quantitative Equity Analyst, you will become part of the Firm's investment management team responsible for managing a unique group of quantitative equity strategies. Your main responsibilities will include:
Analyzing large and complex financial data sets to determine economically sound investment variables.
Building detailed trading cost models to estimate the profitability of potential trades.
Developing innovative software tools to create and implement successful investment strategies.
Designing and running sophisticated simulations to create investment strategies that outperform their benchmarks on a consistent basis.
Analyzing financial, economic, and corporate news to ensure that the investment strategies are implemented with accurate and current data.
As the Quantitative Equity Analyst, you will possess the following characteristics:

A bachelor's or advanced degree from a top school.
Background in quantitative disciplines such as finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, and operations research.
Strong programming skills; experience with C language is mandatory.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.
Contribution to investment research, software development, and portfolio management.
