Invitation to Wharton interview - just received

Can't believe my eyes! Just got a wharton interview invitation. Thanks to everyone. I mean everyone.

I'm in Boston. No Boston hub interview spots available. Rumor has it that it is better to interview with an admission officer than with a second-year. What do you think? If so, how do I get an on-campus adcom interview?

And also what questions should I prepare?

FYI campus interview has spots from 2/20 - 2/28
Beijing hub has 2 spots
Shanghai hub has 5 spots as of 2 minutes ago.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

But admissions officers are dealing with thousands of application packages right now, so, probably you will interview with a second year student if you visit campus.

do you already know who your interviewer will be? othewise, how do you know for sure it will be a second year student, not an adcom?

My best advice is to be yourself in the interview, no matter facing an ad-com or student. I believe these students are trained and should have a lot of experience conducting interviews ( imaging the majority of candidates are interviewed by the students ). It really makes little difference whom you are talking to.

Plus Wharton only has hub interviews in some international cities, so you left with either alumni interview in your city or students interview on campus. I don't see any option how you can assign yourself to an adcom member....

Just my 2 cents.

I don't have the name of my interviewer yet. but by searching the names of the interviewers of the earlier few days (their names appear in the time slots), all of them are Wharton students. I believe they are going to assign these people again for the interviews later based on their schedule.

Plus i have the impression that all on-campus interviews are conducted by students, but I can't remember the source of this information.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
