Bear Stearns in Free Fall

I actually liked them a lot.. for being the smallest ibank out of the big 5... almost couldnt believe my eyes when i saw their stock price dropped down to $30.85 by $26.15 this morning.  was like $160 last year.

but I personally think that BEAR SUCKS!

The company has the worst culture of all Wall Street banks - they are known for having a frat culture.

Market is going to be VERY tough for the next couple years.....

especially for ppl like us, the class of 2010..

其实你觉得bear帅哥多，有可能是因为他们的dress code 是 business formal吧，不像Lehman 什么的是 Business Casual...一般来说，每天穿西装打领带总归比较精神吧。

这样说来，Goldman不是也因该帅哥特别多，因为他们也是business formal..我虽然没在GS工作过，不过听说GS的男生的确是特别特别well-polished 的类型。

但是Bear倒是有出美女的名声，据说bear的美女比别的银行都多。。。而且bear的女生都蛮会打扮得。

以上只是我的个人见解，大家不同意的话也请见谅啊。

JP Morgan bought Bear for $2 a share yesterday...this price also included Bear's headquarter in Midtown Manhattan..... that building alone is worth more than the company itself.  Rumor says that Lehman will be the next following the downfall of Bear. 

Around 80% of Bear's employees will be gone.. Those who tend to pursue a career at ibanking post MBA, keep an eye out for the recent news.
