我的第二篇TWE啊，艰辛！

          昨天第一次写，写了TWE004。今天是第二篇

TWE015，Neighbors are the people who live near us. In your opinion, what are the qualities of a good neighbor? Use specific details and examples in your answer.

As the years go by,  the earth becomes smaller and smaller, so people will have more neighbors than before, which arouses a question, ”what are the qualities of a good neighbor?” many people declare that smart, patient, and humor are qualities of a good neighbor. Yes, I agree with them. However, I hold the opinion that the three qualities are not the most important ones of a good neighbor. As I see, tolerance, kind-heart and optimism are vital qualities a good neighbor should be made of. I would like to explain it in my following article. 

The merits of tolerance are numberless as the sand. To begin with, let me state a story. During the war between the states, when a general made a decision, result in losing the chance of beating the enemy, Lincoln was very angry, but he blamed himself in stead of punishing the poor general. I really can not imagine whether he would be one of the greatest presidents if Lincoln was not tolerant while others made a mistake. Also , if a neighbor is not tolerant, when I make a mistake which gives some troubles to him, he must be very angry and perhaps do something to me. In a word, I consider tolerance as an very important quality of a good neighbor.

Furthermore, a kind-hearted neighbor will bring me much convenience. It’s obvious that convenience is necessary to us, since our energy and time is limited. If a neighbor helps me when I am trapped in difficulties, I can save my time and solve my problem easily, which allows me to live a happy life. For example, my neighbor Tom is kind-hearted. There is something wrong with my air-conditioning often, and he always repairs it for me, so I do not need to wait for the repairman. Somebody would say,“is it boring if your neighbor often does that?”Actually, it’s better than without anybody helping me. Anyway , kind-heart is anther quality of a good neighbor.

The last personality trait I want to say is optimism. As we all know, people do better when they are with active mood, such as optimism. I am an optimist, and I always give confidence and happiness to my neighbors, so that I am very welcome in my community, because they deem that I am a good neighbor, even though I am not very smart. So it makes me be sure of the importance of optimism.

In conclusion, I persist that tolerance, kind-heart, and optimism are the most important characteristics of a good neighbor. After all, we all pursue happy and convenient lives. Also, I agree with the opinion which others hold, that is the more qualities, such as smart and humility, the better a neighbor would be. Meanwhile, we must cultivate more good characters in order to be nice neighbors.
