问个问题.barron第一套,听力41题.怎么能是D呢?

意思是你知道的我这儿都有，也就是挺多的，所以教授就不打算说了．

我还以为"professor想说这样的例子太多了,你们都可以说很多的,想让学生说".看来是我理解错了.

The professor’s main focus of this lecture is Hydrogen (one of many alternatives to petroleum). He metions batteries, methanol and natural gas just to illustrate that apart from Hydrogen there some other options belong to this long list.

When the professor adresses “a long list” in the beginning of his lecture,he might imply that  he will not explain all, but concerntrate on the most promising one, that is Hydrogen.

“and, well, you name it” means that you can think of many other alternatives besides what I’ve just mentioned.
