present the Hollywood Restaurant has only standard-height tables.  However, many customers come to watch the
celebrities who frequent the Hollywood,
and they would prefer tall tables with stools because such seating would afford
a better view of the celebrities. 
Moreover, diners seated on stools typically do not stay as long as
diners seated at standard-height tables. 
Therefore, if the Hollywood
replaced some of its seating with high tables and stools, its profits would
increase.

答案C是说来Hollywood并选择高桌子的客户并不一定比选择标准桌子的客户消耗的时间短，所以削弱了作者的说法。

答案D说了“a restaurant's customers who spend less time at their meals ”，但这个customer并不等于选择高桌子的customer，所以是错的

关键是对这句话的理解：an exception to the generalization about lingering是指来这的顾客坐高脚坐位的与一般情况不同（exception to the generalization)，还是会逗留很久。

谢谢lz的解释,但是对"an exception to the generalization about lingering是指来这的顾客极少（exception)选择高脚座位，大部分人(generalization)还是会逗留很久。"我还不是很理解. 我觉得flaw是片面认为选择了高脚桌的人是不会象一般情况一样逗留时间长的特例.

两类顾客：选择高桌子观看名人的顾客，通常的用餐顾客.观看名人的逗留时间短。－>换高桌子能增加利润。问削弱？

C：选择高桌子（观看名人）的顾客只是例外相对于通常的顾客在逗留时间上。->换了高桌子以后，那些通常用餐的顾客座了高桌子和以前的逗留时间还会是一样的。所以不能得出换了高桌子就能增加利润。

虽然过时了，但还是留下我的理解。这也应该是道取非题。客人停留的时间短，意味着“翻桌”的次数多，利润就高。如果选择高桌的人多，停留的时间长，利润就低。所以说选择高桌的人停留的时间不比坐普通桌子的人长，利润就有保障。

我这道题也做错了，遇到取非的时候，真的很难呀，脑子要在那么短的时间转过来，怎一个哭字了得
