[求助]请教诸位,我究竟是能申请LLM还是JD?

我想请问一下各位,我在一所很一般的大学念法学本科,明年就要毕业了,对前途一片迷茫,家里建议出国继续念书.但考虑到我的专业,我很矛盾.

首先申请JD的难度实在不是单单一个大字就可以解决的.本来我想刚好我本科就是法学,所以干脆去申请LLM算了,但是看见大家对LLM的抨击也不是一个大字能形容的,自己想想也是,要是先申请到LLM,出去之后再考LAST,混个JD那简直是神仙过的日子了,但是这样难度同样很大,据说这样子成功的人那一年几乎是不睡觉的.

然后是基本上我所有在美国读书的同学都劝我不要死抱着法律,反正我的本科也不是什么大名牌,不如干脆转专业,申请个好考的,只用TOEFL和GRE(GMAT就算了吧,考数学考得那么多,估计我考LAST还能死得好看点)成绩就够了.可是我实在是不甘心,虽然我的本科是间烂学校,可是我好歹也花了4年宝贵青春读法律,就这么转了专业,除非之后我申请到了TOP20,否则我死不瞑目.

所以,我整理了一下我矛盾而混乱的脑袋,想了2个计划出来,请教一下诸位达人哪套更可行?

计划一: 今年把TOEFL和GRE考了,撒大网申请,LLM成败在此一举,如果读到了,那1年就为JD拼了.(因为我听说LLM好象不用LSAT成绩,如果要用的话,那这个计划当我放屁)

计划二:今年连带明年6月之前,准备LSAT,申请JD.我的英文绝对不算牛人,最多是过得去,所以我准备专门找个人狂补,.然后明年上半年再去参加个强化班什么的,一年的时间应该不算很短吧. 如果各位觉得这个计划对于我来说是可行的,那我这一年拼了老命就是了,

要是大家觉得我都不是以上2个作战计划,我还有备用计划,那就是转专业.这个实在是无可奈何之选了.

建议楼主转专业，不用死抱法律。

Charlene，I would suggest you evaluate your own advantages and disvantages before making any effort of studying abroad. According to your note, you are aiming at applying for a US law degree in which case TOEFL or LSAT is unavoidable. However, i would say that the foregoing two tests would take you a lot of time in preparation due in large part you are not so competent in English. Additionally, it is worth noting that there are many graduates coming back to China with a foreign degree, namely Hai Gui, cannot easily find a job and become Hai Dai. In this regard, you really have to think thoroughly whether it is worthwhile spending such a lot of $ and time for a degree that might not bring you as much achievement as you have expected.

I'm a newbie here. So anything I say hereunder that may arounse any dicomfort should and must be ignored.

But I think Louzhu-charlene should give it a shot. Anyhow, this community share a utopian and lofty theme: chasedreams.
If you have to be agonized day and night trying to decide whether to do, why not do it now. Better than looking back and saying "I should've done that."
As I just started preparing myself, and God knows how difficult it is for me, both for the deicision and courage, since I only have a Chemistry background,it's too soon for me to judge the test yet. Somehow I know if I don't go for it, it will never happen on me.
Push past yourself, noly sky is your limit. Go for it, sis!

谢谢大家，尤其是stay_cool，你的话使我认真思考了自己的问题，结合自身的条件和资质，我很清楚我自己现在的学习状态还没达到考LSAT的状态，但是我都觉得年轻不应该怕吃苦，试一试都好，总比以后后悔来的好，真的，我突然觉得我自己干过太多让自己后悔的事情，这一次不能再错过了
