想申请FE, NTU或者NUS

请教已成功的学长的申请心得。最好还有工作心得！

A great gmat score! But I think a high gpa is much more important, especially those math-related courses.

have you been interviewed by NTU MFE?

If you can get an offer from NTU MFE, choose it;  otherwise, NUS MFE is also good for landing a job locally.

No much difference.

The application for admission into NTU MFE has been becoming much more competitive in recent years.

I heard that last year only one undergraduate was admitted directly into MFE.

All other successful applicants hold masters or have working experience.

Which specific area are you interested? Jobs and salaries are quite good locally.

Which smu program are you talking about? master in finance or master in applied finance? The master in finance is mainly a preparation for future phd study, not mainly for getting a job in IB.

NUS MFE is also a good program.

I donot think there is a big difference betwen NUS MFE and NTU MFE. Both can help you get a job in singapore, but cannot guarantee you will enter a top tie IB.

SMU MAF is similar to CFA, with little math and programming. You can self-learn and pass CFA, so SMU MAF is not much useful. It may be useful for those persons who are working in the financial industry and want to pass CFA but are not good at self-learning. SMU MAF will help them pass CFA and promote to a higher position. But it's much less useful for a person who wants to jump into the financial industry.

If you are from EE background, good at and also like math, choose NTU or NUS MFE.
