NUS MFE is also a good program. I donot think there is a big difference betwen NUS MFE and NTU MFE. Both can help you get a job in singapore, but cannot guarantee you will enter a top tie IB. SMU MAF is similar to CFA, with little math and programming. You can self-learn and pass CFA, so SMU MAF is not much useful. It may be useful for those persons who are working in the financial industry and want to pass CFA but are not good at self-learning. SMU MAF will help them pass CFA and promote to a higher position. But it's much less useful for a person who wants to jump into the financial industry. If you are from EE background, good at and also like math, choose NTU or NUS MFE. |
