问一个数学概念~~恳请NN指点

OG的math review里面的Descriptive Statistics说道

Note that for a large set of data(for example, the salaries of 800 conpany employees), it is often true that about half of the data is less than the median and about half of the data is greater than the median; but this is not always the case, as following data show

3,5,7,7,7,7,7,7,8,9,9,9,9,10,10

Here the median is 7, but only 2/15 of the data is less than the median

这里说不是意思说在一个large set里面一定是一半大于median，一半小于median的？？？这个large set要多large才算large????

large是一个模糊概念，这就好比说样本足够大时，任何一种随机分布都接近于正态分布。

题中举那个例子显然不够大，当足够大时，median虽然可以重复出现，但在整体population中占的比例极小，因此可看作median两侧的数字一样多，即一半小于一半大于

好像是说通常一个大的集合里面有一半大于中数，一半小于中数，但是不绝对如此。然后举了一个反例。就是题目里面的7。

这里的大集合就是指有很多数的意思，按照文字的意思大概超过10个的都算大集合吧。

两位似乎说的不是一个意思啊~~hehe~~最好能碰到什么题目验证一下这个知识点就好了~~
