两篇 essay 求助 ！

1。One of our belief is that each member of the our community has unique needs and talents. What are your greatest talents and/or abilities and how would each enhance the experience of your classmates?

2。Imagine that ten years from now a colleague is describing you to a new employee. What will s/he say about you that you are not known for now? How will you achieve these new skills?

没什么思路，没有主线，大家给点主意。第一篇所说的才能都可以指那些方面？怎么和后面enhance the experience of your classmates结合起来？

第二篇感觉题目有点虚，是不是就是给自己列一个短期素质提升计划？How to achieve 不知道怎么说。

给点建议。

I think the 1st question asks for special qualities, such as your personality, your unique experience. One example, if you were an artist, you have additional perspective to contribute to your classmates.

The 2nd question, I think it is asking for your weakness and how you will deal with it.

BTW, which school's questions?

I agree with the first question.

For me, for the first question. I will say something about my strength, such I can think independently, reasonably and creatively etc(Rotman like people who can think for sure. Remember they brag their integrative thinking. But be yourself I will say. If it matchs you, you are lucky. If not, uniqueness will make you standing out too.).

I will say something about my afterwork life such as I like sports such as golf, scuba-diving,skiing etc. I can introduce good resorts and coachs in Toronto etc.

And some other personal stuff.

For the essay 3(your question 2), I won't talk about my weakness.I will talk about my career goals in 10 years and the skills I am realisticly dreaming about.I think Rotman is checking your career potentials, not personal stuff.

But it could be a good way to talk about your weekness too. But it may be a bit risky.

Any other opinion is welcome.

Well, I certainly agree with what pumkin said on the first one, it is just so hard to find a uniqueness anyway. I've tried to dig out something really special, even I found one, it's hard to expand the whole story.BTW,they are Rotman's essays.

About the second one, I agree with mayfair's contention that it's a way to ask your ambition and potential. Whereas it is easy to talk about some visionary aspiration, the topic is pron to off the track, how to settle down a main track?I just need some inspiration.Please!Even a few word maybe helpful!

第一篇一个个的总结总觉得比较散，没有形成一个整体！

LZ把标题改下会比较醒目。

和朋友聊了聊，又有了一点想法：

For Rotman number 2
还可以写一些广泛的兴趣爱好。such as:

1. my undergrad degree was a combination of Psychology, Philosophy and Computer Science

2. I used balancing a chair on my head as the Master of Ceremonies
for a Diwali(Its an Indian celebration of light and renewal) night as my hook

3.You can say your talent is for sports and then put a spin on be outgoing, whichever answers the question better

4.you can put your wide range of interests and knowledge and your International persepctive

For Rotman number 3 this is all about what do you want to get from an MBA and why.  Explain where you want to be ten years from now and then explain how an MBA at Rotman will get you there. eg.

1.you want to be a project manager or product manager at a health care provider for instance.Then explain the skills you need that you don't have and how an MBA from Rotman is perfect for this

2. You want to be a consultant for the Media and Telecom industries focussing on technology strategy

For Rotman number 4 choose something that is somewhat recent.  Make sure it is not something you did that was illegal or morally reprehensible.  Make it something where you tried and failed and then learned something from that failure.
