据说Yale减少招生人数

早就知道Yale自从去年7月新的dean上任后，就开始改革MBA课程，并将于今年秋季开始新的课程。但同时，听说为了适应新课程，Yale今年打算把220－240人的招生规模削减到180人，不知道为什么。反正对我们大陆申请者不是什么好事情。我知道截止目前，Yale第二轮在大陆录取了两人。

我个人觉得主要原因是：到yale上学的实际人数没有达到学校的计划!

学校计划就是220－240，每年都是这样。你觉得今年会招不到220人吗？即使去年yield那么低，也可以招到212人。呵呵，你说呢？我说的情况和原因是SOM的在读学生说的，大家不要瞎猜了。

Mr. Yale, I just heard from another friend in US that in Class 2007 of SOM, there is no student who is admitted directly from Mainland China. Those Chinese students all have overseas experience no matter it is working or studying experience. In class 2006, less than 5 students are admitted directly from Mainland China. Is that true according to you inside information? If in this case, you must have shown good qualification to get in this year.

Anyway, I really love Yale and will apply Yale this September after 3 years in a global consulting firm. Hope we could meet in New Haven next year.

Yale是我最想去的学校。我觉得还是有很多人和我感觉一样的，有很多超级的Yale fans。在中国大陆申请Yale难度很高。

不过我在去年9月的MBA TOUR上听YALE的代表讲今年的招生人数不变。可能有新政策吧。实在是个坏消息。那这样一来YALE比TUCK还要小了，我个人认为这对YALE的发展不利。

还在等YALE R2的消息，YALE也是个我很想去的学校，不过因为个人原因，可能不会去了。

不过肯定还是有机会见cheeyong的。

Not exactly. I heard that one student of 2007 comes directly from mainland china, and 4 for class 2006. Yes, most Chinese students have several years of solid work experience in U.S. already.
