一个古城，挖掘出来后发现有很多橄榄油的加工厂，但是可以加工的数量超过当地人的消费量，所以一定该地出口橄榄油到附近的city。问weaken，

在两个答案间徘徊，一个说周围的city most foods are self-sufficient，另一个说周围的region种了大量的橄榄树。犹豫再三，选了后者，想法是这些工厂是为附近的city加工的，并不是出口，此题不确定

两个选项有点晕！

Hmm. the latter sounds okay.  Cities in the vicinity are self-sufficient in terms of most of their food supply doesn't mean they're sufficient with the olive oil supply.  1 seems irrelevant.
