Question for Columbia Recommendation letter

One of CBS' recommendation questions, kind of confused, why they put those two issues together as one question? what we should read in the first half?

No. 6 In what ways could the applicant improve professionally? How does he/she accept constructive criticism?

They want to know your shortcomings and if you're able to improve when others point it out.

Well, they probably prefer something that'll have a higher impact on your career. For example, "strategic risk taking" instead of "parenting skills".
