A compelling optical illusion called the illusion velocity and size makes objects appear to be moving more slowing the larger the objects are. Therefore, a motorist's estimate of the time available for crossing a highway with a small car approaching is bound to be lower then it would be with a large truck apporaching.

(B) truck's speed is assumed to be as same as the car's

(C) truck's speed is assumed to be higher than the car's

對於這題.雖然我選對答案(B).但對於(c)的ETS說法不太了解:If the truck is moving faster than the car, the illsion might make the two vehicles appear to be moving at the same speed. 為何會the same speed呢?

我想虽然实际上的速度Vtruck>Vcar

由于Truck比Car大，根据题意，illusion velocity会使truck速度变慢的程度比car更多

所以Vt会接近等于Vc。

我是新手，所以最好有NN帮忙解释的清楚点。
