Just got the e-mail offer from U of Northern Texas. But I have declined it, for I have accept the offer from UT Dallas.

So I would say, as to the application to some low tier school for Phd in accounting, Texas may be a good choice. If you are in USA currently, GMAT >710, GPA> 3.6, some kind of master degree in business school.

It seems the assistantship from universities in Texas is not bad, higher than many state univer, according to my observation. I think, this should be the last offer I can get.

UT Dallas 要比North Texas好很多

North Texas排名接近200了. 但学校大, 好象跟台湾合作比较多.

我刚拜读了楼主前面的帖子. 楼主好象没有申请50-100之间的学校?

今年申请的牛人好象比较多....我的情况给楼主说的差不多. 本来看去年Gre考2200都可以去univ. of Iowa, 考1100/1600可以去clemson, 我还觉得去UNT觉得亏了, 现在看来UNT能给offer就幸运了...我UNT还没交申请费...$75呢, 不知有没有影响?

电话面试有预先通知吗? 楼主能不能提供点经验? 我虽然快拿到MBA in the U.S. 了,但平时老是跟中国人一起混,口语很差,现在心很虚...

呵呵。。其实，我申请了不少前30名的学校，也有50－100的。。但人家不要我。。我也就不好意思说了。其实50名以后的学校，我就不是很清楚phd的排名了。。

不知道GSU算什么样的学校，前个星期吧，他们director给我打电话来着，问我有没有兴趣去campus visit。我说，我已经接受了其他学校的offer了。然后他问是哪个，还说他们学校比较好，有没有可能退了人家。我说我接受了UTD，他居然说这个决定好，也没说什么了，然后说他们学校去年在UTD招了一个PHD去做Assistant Professor。我其实，还是知道自己的斤两的，就目前的背景而言，正常的情况下是应该进不了牛校的。

我感觉GSU出offer太晚了，很多可能被他们录取的都接受了其他的offer了，如果谁申请了GSU，并且现在也接到了电话面试，录取的机会应该很大的。
