Top 50 US public

Undergrad major: 金融and数学;

3年读完这两个major, 第4年上一个combined degree Masters in Finance

GMAT: 740 q-49;

I know quant score is on the lower spectrum so I'm wondering if should i retake GMAT just to bring quant score to 51? - did not put too much effort into quant the first time since it was just high school math, =(

I should be able to get couple good letters of recommendation: one from finance prof one from math prof and another if needed.

target school: top 10？ top 20? which tier is most likely for me?

did you publish any papers, which program do you want to apply for, i think your background is very good, you can try top 5

i will start writing my thesis this summer...still trying to decide on an interesting topic, does anyone have anything interesting to suggest?

really nice profile. I guess you have decent chances on Top 10. It is amazing to finish a MA degree in your fourth year. good luck.

楼主真是幸福，敢问贵校finance major要求修多少门 business administration ，business ethics, and mannagement等其他一些无关的课
本校finance major 需要修30几个学时的诸如此类的无关课程（至少读master or Ph.d in finance用不着），所以四年内拿double major in finance and math 的可能性为零。还有就是请问楼主的数学背景除了上面修过的课以外还有那些，其中哪些是有用的？

哎，我的问题多得可以开一个新贴了
