自由的疑惑一：A选项，OG说是对原文解释的支持，可是自由个人觉得是削弱啊，因为A中有” in the last five years”

自由的疑惑问题二：D选项，我个人感觉是对原文解释原因的削弱，因为有它因的存在，自由的思路和OG的解释产生了冲突。

自由的疑惑问题三：C选项，OG认为是正确选项，可是，C中的”the intestinal disease” 同” the intestinal ulcers” 感觉是一样的啊！都是肠器官疾病的一种啊！为什么C把它看做是两个不同的事物呢？谢谢大家。

The number of people diagnosed as having a certain intestinal disease has dropped significantly in a rural county this year, as compared to last year. Health officials attribute this decrease entirely to improved sanitary conditions at water-treatment plants, which made for cleaner water this year and thus reduced the incidence of the disease.

C)     because of a new diagnostic technique, many people who until this year would have been diagnosed as having the intestinal disease are now correctly diagnosed as suffering from intestinal ulcers.

D)     Because of medical advances this year, far fewer people who contract the intestinal disease will develop severe cases of the disease.

Since A supports the view that sanitary conditions have been improving, it tends to support the officials’ explanation. The reduction of the severity of the diagnosed cases( choice D) does not bear on the officials’ explanation. The health officials’ explanation assumes that the decrease in the number of people diagnosed with the disease accurately reflects a diminution in cases of the disease. By pointing out that this assumption is false, C undermines the officals’ explanation and thus is the best answer.

C中的”the intestinal disease” 同” the intestinal ulcers（溃疡）” 感觉是一样的啊！都是肠器官疾病的一种啊！为什么C把它看做是两个不同的事物呢？

c中有are now correctly diagnosed 。。。也就是说原来的诊断是错误的，不应该是the intestinal disease” 而应该是” the intestinal ulcers。所以，应该把这两疾病和溃疡当作两回事吧。。

我是这么理解的哦，不知道对不对。

A.题目中并没有说这五年中the intestinal ulcers没有逐年递减，所以我觉得不构成削弱。

D是无关选项，因为medical advances -->fewer 得了这种病的人会变得严重

但不能使得这种病的人数减少(The number of people diagnosed as having a certain intestinal disease has dropped )

A. Many new water-treatment plants have been built
in the last five years in the rural county.

在过去5年里很多water-treatment plants已经被建造.但是它们的卫生状况是否始终如一的差或好没有说明.所以无法判断是加强还是削弱,OG对A的说法有问题. 新的water-treatment plants并不表示卫生状况就好,所以A不应该是加强,而是无关.

如果A是:

A. Many sanitary conditions improved water-treatment plants have been built
in the last five years in the rural county.那就是削弱,因为5年前就造了,并且环境良好,而病是今年才减低的,所以干净的水跟病没关系.
