解到8100=3^4x100便不行了

answer=a

Q36:

If a and b are positive integers such that a – b and a/b are both even integers, which of the following must be an odd integer?

我覺得如d是odd,那a也應是odd,為什麼answer是d?

3. m Θ v = x where x + n*v = m (n is a positive integer)

5. k/6 + m/4 = t/12 => k/3 + m/2 = t/6 => 2k + 3m = t
condition 1: let k = 3x => 6k + 3m = t => 3(2k + m) = t => t is a multiple of 3
condition 2: let m = 3y => 2k + 9m = t (inconclusive)

11. (3^x^{– 1})³= 3 ^ (3x - 3) = 3^3x / 3^3 = 3^(6x * 0.5) / 27 = (3^6x)^0.5 / 27 = 8100^0.5 / 27 = 90/27 = 10/3

36.
a-b = even => a and b are either both even or both odd
a/b = even => a and b are both even and a is a multiple of 4 (4x / 2y = 2x/y)

let a = 4x (x is an integer)
=> a/2 = 2x (still even)
=> (a+2)/2 = (4x + 2)/2 = 2x+1 (odd)

37. let total distance = y and z = x/100 (percentage)
total time = (y*z)/ 40 + (y*(1-z))/60 = (3zy + 2y - 2zy) / 120 = (zy + 2y) / 120
average speed = total distance / total time = y / [(zy + 2y) / 120]
= 120 / (z + 2) = 12000 / (x + 200)
