各位朋友好。我是一年级 MIS PhD@ISU。刚收到PhD director的招生推广邮件。欢迎大家申请ISU。本PhD项目虽然与很多其他优秀PhD项目相比历史较短，但是却有很强大的师资力量以及非常不错的placement record （见后文）。 我去年在申请和面试准备过程中在本论坛得到很多帮助，非常幸运能在自身条件不是特别突出的情况下（可能我有些特点吧）进到这么优秀的一个项目，和那么多优秀的人为伍。仅在此提供一些信息作为回馈。祝愿大家都得到合适的OFFER。加油。

There is no upfront application fee. If the Doctoral Committeethinks an applicant has a shot at getting in, they will enter a second roundand then will need to pay an application fee.
Please note, applicants would need to complete the pre-applicationform for initial evaluation without an application fee. If they go to the fullapplication right away, they will be required to pay the app fee for that.
