You'd better check school's TOEFL deadline. For most top-10 schools, Nov 17th is too late for Round 1. Some 10-20 schools has first round deadline > Dec 1st. You could negociate with adcom to send your un-official score first.
Normally how long will it take before your know your test score? I mean paper test, I faced the same problem.
If I will take TOEFL at Nov 17th, I would assume I get the score at Dec 17th or later, is it possible that I can catch the second round (most schools are Dec 20-30 or Jan)?

In your case, one month is OK. Again, you can inforom the admissions officers of the schools to which you will apply your status first. Good luck.
