求问一道来自毕出gmat批判性推理的题目

题目不太难。但是我不太懂为什么e选项不能够作为答案。

It is hard for students to get good grades in school. But the hardest problem met by students' parents is that the students do not want to get good grades, and even an eight-year-old child could take examples of "successful without good grades" people such as Steve Jacobs and Bill Gates to explain his bad grades.
To improve students' academic performance, education professor Roland Fryer decides to let students get paid on the basis of metrics such as attendance, behavior, tests, and class work.

Which of the following, if true, most seriously weakens the Roland Fryer's conclusion above?

C. Students who get paid from their parents may spend the payment on smoking and drinking.

E. Money is not always the best incentive for students to have good grades in school.

其他选项都容易排出所以就不列出来了
我明白答案选c的逻辑，但是在书中对于e选项 helr说“无论金钱是不是最好的，只要是能达成目的且没有什么副作用的内容就能使本体的方案推理成立，所以本选项不符合方案推理的三个方向，排除”

所谓方案推理的三个方向是：方案可行性：能否达成目标？方案可操作性：方案能行么？能操作么？
和方案的否定副作用：方案实现后是否带来一些不好的副作用。

对于选项e 如果金钱无法成为incentive 那么学生可以就不会努力学习考好分数啊这不是就是说方案可能不成功么？方案无法实施么？

请问大家怎么看？

这道题不是官方题或者Mahattan吧？我个人觉得这题出的不好，我高度认同lz的逻辑，我觉得你说的完全没问题。如果非要强行解释的话那就是not always the best只能说明可能有更好的方法，不能说明这个方法无效，所以不选E。GMAT的逻辑尺度肯定不是像数学那样完全严谨，需要我们自己体会那个严谨度，但就这题来说，如果严谨到这个程度才能排除E的话，那C同样也有问题，题目的结论只说给钱能提高成绩，成绩好就行了，没说给钱能让孩子们都变成品行也优秀的三好学生，weaken这个conclusion应该要攻击“给钱提高成绩”的有效性和可行性才对，按说不应该扯上负作用。C选项说的是负作用，看起来是和conclusion无关的。如果非说C是攻击有效性的话，那隐含了一个假设是抽烟喝酒会降低成绩，我觉得这个并不算common sense吧。
