Position: IntellectualProperty Analyst, Greater China Region Location: Shenzhen, China A global IP and business research analytics company with comprehensive technology landscape reportsand unique technology platform for text mining and collaboration, now they are looking for IP Analyst for theirbusiness development in China. Responsibilities:
- Handle projects in the areas of intellectual property and technology research and analysis
- Interact effectively with clients in determining the scope of projects
- Conduct patent, technology and scientific literature, and business information searches from multiple information sources
- Prepare high quality reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text
- Forecast and track technology and market trends, analyzing collected data
- Seek and provide information to help clients determine their position in the competitive environment
- Ensure timely delivery of various projects to answer time-sensitive strategic questions
- Add value to the content (think beyond what the client has instructed to add value to meet client objectives)
- Develop marketing collateral with the sales team to drive business
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in technology, with 2-6 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel modeling, database mining, and ability to ramp quickly on a variety of analytical patent tools and visualization software
- Expertise in analyzing and packaging large amounts of data into actionable research reports.
- Well versed in building advanced queries to conduct effective searches
