这是题目,对于A选项的解释是 The consultants’ advice makes sense if increased time to handle claims causes the company to lose business。我不懂 A不是说如果时间增加了 公司就会失去business吗 那就削弱了啊?

这题目是不是说 公司解雇了很多adjusters 为了公司的业务不受解雇的影响 有人建议解雇那些办事最慢的人 是这个意思吗??
这是题目,对于A选项的解释是 The consultants’ advice makes sense if increased time to handle claims causes the company to lose business。我不懂 A不是说如果时间增加了 公司就会失去business吗 那就削弱了啊?

A是加强啊。。。。。那个consultant建议辞退那些settle claims平均用时最长的员工,好处自然就是可以省下这部分时间,而A选项是说如果这个公司用在处理claims上的时间多,就会失去其他的保险客户,就是说settle claims用的时间太多是不好的,那么,省时间就是好的啊,这样consultant的观点就可以解决这个问题啊。


但是OG上对B的解释,说那些处理claims用时最长的员工是最有能力处理complex claims的,因为用时长说明他们所处理的claims都是比较complicated以及费时的,让我觉得这个不纯粹是自己在那幻想吗?题目中并没有给出这样的逻辑关系啊!!!!望高手解答。。。。。。虽然只是OG诊断的第一题。。。。。。。!!!!!

这段题是典型的手段目的题,这道题概括的逻辑思维就是:
目的:为了保证公司处理工作的能力尽可能的不受裁员的影响
手段:裁掉那些现在完成工作花费时间最长的人
一般这类型的题在削弱题中常用解法就是说明手段不能达到目的
而B选项是说这个公司倾向于将最复杂的工作布置给最有能力的adusters
也就是说那些完成工作花费时间长的人不是因为能力差,而是问题复杂需要时间
如果裁剪这些能力最好的人,反而会使公司处理这方面工作的能力降低,明显的就使手段达不到目的,就削弱了

可是我觉得把复杂的工作交给最有能力的员工做,工作时间未必就会比一般员工耗费的长啊,有可能时间一样。所以这个选项就不能削弱了吧?甚至我觉得有点无关的感觉?再帮我解答一下哈。。。

我也纠结这个问题好久了。以下是我的解答:
题目的意思是,准备裁掉一部分claims adjusters,裁员的标准是,谁耗费的时间越长就会裁掉谁。
而问题的是意思是:在题目中,顾问提出的这个标准——谁耗费的时间长久裁掉谁——问面临怎么样的问题。
解释:很明显,claim有比较耗时的也有比较简单的,那么boss一定会把比较难的,相对的也就是比较耗费时间的给哪些有能力的adjuster。一般情况下,有能力的adjuster解决一个claim的时间当然比普通的要快,但是由于有能力的和能力一般的解决的claim等级不一样,那么有可能同时解决adjuster自己被分配到的claim时,普通的反而比有能力的adjuster解决的快,因为claim 简单啊。
所以,裁员顾问所面临的问题就是,可能由于complex claim被分配给最有能力的adjuster,耗费的时间长,而有被裁掉的风险。
