The proposal to extend clinical trials, which are routinely used as systematic tests of pharmaceutical innovations, to new surgical procedures should not be implemented. The point is that surgical procedures differ in one important respect from medicinal drugs: a correctly prescribed drug depends for its effectiveness only on the drug's composition, whereas the effectiveness of even the most appropriate surgical procedure is transparently related to the skills of the surgeon who uses it.

The reasoning in the argument is flawed because the argument

(A) does not consider that new surgical procedures might be found to be intrinsically more harmful than the best treatment previously available

(B) ignores the possibility that the challenged proposal is deliberately crude in a way designed to elicit criticism to be used in refining the proposal

(C) assumes that a surgeon's skills remain unchanged throughout the surgeon's professional life

(D) describes a dissimilarity without citing any scientific evidence for the existence of that dissimilarity

(E) rejects a proposal presumably advanced in good faith without acknowledging any such good faith

答案A

虽然知道A可以推出结论，但提干里面的原因也是可以推出结论的呀。
在答题时，我的整个想法就是觉得提干里没有flaw呀。

感觉自己一定是没理解逻辑的精髓，所以才这么想。。。

提干信息什么时候说过 new surgical procedures 是 the most appropriate surgical procedure了？这好比说我们不应该攻击凤姐，因为杨幂很美啊！
可以用以下两种方法的任意一种理解：
用GWD的前提思维方法：new surgical procedures和 the most appropriate surgical procedure答案选项必须说明两者关系，也就是new surgical procedures和 the most appropriate surgical procedure必须同时出现在选项中。
(A) does not consider that new surgical procedures might be found to be intrinsically more harmful than the best treatment previously available （把最高级换成比较级的说法）

用逻辑学原理：讨论的主体范围，在前提和结论之间周延不当（以偏概全：从小范围的特例，外延到大范围的普适）。

逻辑大侠，万分感谢这么仔细的给我写答案。
看了15分钟终于明白了。

但是看的过程中依然觉得自己逻辑的解题思路不像是SC那么清晰。像是问了别人一道很难的数学题，别人给了讲解自己也明白了。下回看到类似题型可能还是错。

我看了您的做了3000题的心经，很是佩服。现在再去看一遍，看看有没有关于逻辑学习方法的讲解。

看到了大虾的生气删精华帖，估计你已经不太气了，不然也不会回来帮助很多后辈。
CD论坛上虽然有些特例，但感觉大部分人都还是很有素质的，别为了个别的人生气啦。

CR我推荐中文MBA逻辑辅导教材。你没看错。红皮的，一本教材，一本习题册。中国人的CR是世界上讲的最好的，成系统。国外的辅导机构的CR，那叫一个“原始”啊。。。几乎除了“相关”vs"不相关"就没有别的了，根本不成体系，甚至有“加强题可以用Negation Test来验证”这么荒谬的言论。外国辅导教材可以看LSAT CR Bible，GMAT Bible那本在LSAT基础上有删减，直接看LSAT的就好了。里面formal logic那一章的“some train”对做某些归纳题很有帮助，也是中文MBA逻辑没见过的方法，一定要看。CR练习可以用我上面说过的LSAT模拟GMAT界面3000题，保证够你做了，可以做到吐。
具体到逻辑题用Helr还是GWD的选择，我曾经的精华帖讲过，看过的赚到，没看过你来晚了。
RC题我自己还题材恐惧症呢，就没资格说了。从作者的角度想问题，是比较好的方法。还有就是实在不会的时候，用作者的态度和主旨去做细节题和Infer题也是可以的，抓住大的方向是support还是refute。如果是refute，选项很可能有3个都是正说的，有两个not怎么样的，答案就是这两个中一个，一般都一个会出现“绝对化词语”，剩下的那个就是答案。这都是一些技巧性的解题方法了，大家多做都可以掌握。RC是有技巧的，不是傻读。

我之前看不懂的一半的原因是读题有障碍，题读得半懂不懂的，更别说答题了。

alzn2765已经写得很明白了，我不知道怎么可以解释得更明白。建议你把原文翻译成中文，应该马上就可以明白了。如果你翻译出来后还是不明白，可以贴在这里，到时我帮你看看是不是翻译有问题。
