Topic: It has been said, "Not everything that is learned is contained in books." Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Some people nowadays hold that books are not important as much as they were and the knowledge grained from the experience has become the main way of our study. There is a saying that "Not evething that is learned is contained in books". But as far as I concerned, learning knowledge from books is still one of the most important way todat and even in the future.

Firstly, from our childhoods, we began to read stories and tales to learn vocabularies and words. From prelimitary school to college, we use books to biuld our founderment of our knowledge by the tutors. For the natural science such as mathematics, physics and chemistry, all the basic thoeries, equations and deductions are shown in textbooks. Meanwhile, we read many books on history, politics, literature and art. All these help us to form our understanding of world, people and society.

Secondly, varieties of books cover all aspects of different fields. Whatever you are interested in, you always could find the books with the contents you are looking for. And with claiming of new discovery of science and new opinions, the best way to let the public know is to make them published.

Thirdly, as the development of the technology and cumputers, now books have extended many forms other than paper form. we now have video tape, mp3 of stories, portable digital files and learning sortware. With these various forms of books, we prefer to learn knowledge in different ways to make us more comfortable.

It is admitted that learning from experiences is more vivid, thus leaving much deeper impression in the mind. The efficient development of transportation vehicles also make it possible to go personally on the spot. However, learning from experiences costs too much compared to books, and sometimes impossible in case of the history.

All in all, learning from books is still the main important ways to learn knowledge for the above reasons.
