想请教各位关于正选C我不理解的地方. 以下是我理解的C所提供的信息：
甲虫飞着飞着要停有两个可能的原因, 体力论和视力论.
体力论: cannot maintain their pace and must pause for a moment’srest
C反对: insect准备逃走 – 休息后加速 – 消耗体力更快 – 休息的interval不会是fixed
视力论: running tiger beetles are unable to process the resultingrapidly changing visual information, and so quickly go blind and stop
C支持: insect准备逃走 – 休息后加速 – 消耗体力更快 – 休息的interval却稳定 – 说明有体力依然pause了 - 但这不能说明beetles在pause的时候看不到insect
问题强调“support one of the two hypotheses and undermine the other," 我没有把这种题当做strengthen题型, 而是evaluate argument的类型来做, 找的是能够同时满足两个条件的答案.
C的关键信息是a fixed time interal, 如题干要求undermine了体力论。但C并没有提供了充足信息来support视力论. “although when an insect that had been stationary begins to flee, the beetle increases its speed after its next pause," 然而beetles speed up的原因可能就是在pause的过程中看到了insect begins to flee. 难道这种题提出两种可能的, 我们就自动默认这两种hypotheses是唯二的可能，只需要信息驳斥了体力论就自动证明了视力论？
