Firness Club
A manager at the xxx gym (a fitness chain - three locations in a medium size city), wrote a memo to the owner, that based on a recent survey, the club members showed a high interest in eating healthy. The manager wrote that "eating healthy" means eating organic food, which was planted with restricted use of certain pesticides and fertilizers in farming. The manager claims that the city is ready to have an organic store, and it is the best time to open one before any other competitors (national chains) coming into the market. So he suggests to expand the three gyms and open organic grocery stores immediately. By doing so, the manager believes that the company will boost their profit than the recent years.
1. survey
2. cost-benefit analysis没有做
3. if the city really has the capacity to have the store
4. each location may have different level of lifestyle, or perspective of organic store
5. "eating healthy" may not exclusively mean "organic food", it might also be "eating in balance" as well
Dive
