TWE170(唉,我写的东西和某君的唱腔一起每况愈下)

170 Groups or organizations are an important part of some people's lives. Why are groups or organizations important to people? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.

In the modern society, perhaps there are few people like Robinson Crusoe who could spend their lives in an isolated island without belonging to another group or organization. You see, students have their schools, workers have their factories or companies not to mention those organizations such as parties and labor unions. Groups and organizations have significant influences on everyone, and we may wonder why they are so important to us people.

Above all things, human beings in essence are social animals that have benefited from groups and organizations since the dawn of civilization. In the beginning of human society, our ancestors began to bring food gathered and hunted to their homestead to share with the members of the group, which is characteristic of mankind and might be one essential reason why human outstripped other animals and created a modern society. Compared with other ferocious animals, human beings are so weak that a person alone cannot win a wolf or a lion, but the efforts of groups would drive away the enemies and promise the safety of group members. Besides, cooperation in a group could enhance the overall productivity and grant people abundant materials, which is critical for the survival of mankind at the beginning and brings more benefits as the society develops.

In addition to the benefits of physical safety and material abundance carried with groups and organizations, belonging to some group is also a psychological need, particularly in a competitive modern society. Faced with high pressure from working and studying, people are easily indulgent in their depression even despair. On these occasions, groups and organizations give them another home, to which they are attached mentally.

Furthermore, some informal groups and organizations are also the place where people can spend their spare time. For instance, many artists and writers are disposed to attend salons where they could discuss their moral and aesthetic interests with those who have common languages with them.

In conclusion, organizations and groups bestow to people the feelings of safety both physically and psychologically. It might be due to these merits mentioned that various organizations have been thriving for long stretches of history.

恰好俺以前也写过这篇,也贴出来吧。有比较,才能体会Zoe的确写得好。

Human beings are, to a large extent, social creatures, which means that they rely heavily on group activities. Ancient people usually lived together because it was unimaginable for them to fight against various kinds of beasts individually, so group life was extremely important for them to survive. Modern humans, however, also depend largely on groups and organizations, although they have nothing to fear about their survival. In my opinion, groups and organizations are important to people in at least two major aspects, which I will discuss here.

The first plain truth, which would be obvious to everyone, is that most people have to work together in certain groups or organizations to ensure their career success. Unlike their ancestors who could work alone, modern people can hardly work successfully on their own. Rather, they usually work in groups or organizations wherein they cooperate with other teammates to achieve specific goals. For example, only by working in a group can a technician produce a real car, because his assignment is just to install tires while other critical jobs, like designing, painting and testing, are to be done by others. Without question, working together in groups or organizations is the predominant way for people to pursue their career.

Another equally important aspect is that groups and organizations are places in which people enjoy their pastimes. To recreate themselves, people often join in certain groups or organizations to play with other persons with whom they share with the same hobbies. So many kinds of clubs or associations exists that everyone can easily find one he or she is interested in, such as tennis clubs, football clubs, hiking association, movie fans groups, and so on. All of these groups have attracting so many different types of people, mainly due to the common notion that playing together is much more interesting than playing alone.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely conclude that groups and organization play a big role in most people's life. People either collaborate with others in groups to work more effectively or play with others in clubs or associations to get more fun. In another word, hardly can people escape group activities in daily life.

hehe... If this example is accucrate, as I believe so, this is so called 抛砖引玉。

我的解构总是乱,在细节上纠缠不清。慢慢改吧,虽然时日无多了。

personnally,i think the topic calls for an article from an  individul' pespective ,rather than a historical one.(like your 1st reason) and that's what most models i've read put much emphasis on.
